The Blackie Carbon mast is made of a combination of carbon-fiber, S-glass, and E-glass laminated with aerospace epoxy and post-cured in an oven. The carbon cloth is on outside of mast with a gloss epoxy finish.

The Black Max has the same layup and construction as the Blackie but with the carbon-fiber on the inside of the mast. It has a black graphite finish.

The Twizzler uses the same construction methods as the Blackie and Black Max but it is bendier for lighter sailors. It can have a dyed finish in red, blue, green, yellow, or grey
